SMC welcomes Sons of the Day to our gathering this morning. Sons of the Day will be leading our congregational music today. There will be a carry-in meal immediately following the church service in our fellowship hall. Please feel free to join in this time even if you did not bring any food today. We always have plenty.

Last Sunday’s offering of $2,000 will be split evenly between Virginia Mennonite Missions and Virginia Mennonite Conference. Thank-you for your continued generosity and support of our congregation, mission board, and conference during these difficult economic times.

Joyce Showalter would like to thank everyone who sent cards, flowers, and visited her during her recent hospitalization and recovery time at home.

There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for anyone who can bring a meal to Peggy and Nelson Blosser as she recovers.

There will be a work day here at SMC on May 30th. Details to come.

SMC children have been invited to participate in Springdale Mennonite’s Bible School from June 14th to the 18th beginning at 6:30pm. See Kevin for details.
