Our Community Place, a ministry of The Early Church in Harrisonburg, will be hosting the 6th annual Summer Lawn Jam on Saturday, June 27 from 12pm to sundown. Many volunteers are needed for the event. Contact Philip Rhodes at ourcommunityplace@gmail.com to find out ways to help with the food, auction, raffle, children's events, and items for the "redistribution of the wealth" yard sale.

Mark your calendar for July 23 & 24 for the Virginia Mennonite Conference Assembly Worship Sessions, held at Eastern Mennonite High School. The theme is Jesus is Our Peace with David Shenk featured as worship speaker Thursday night. David is noted for his mission work and dialogue with Muslims.

• Please pray for Kristin Sharp’s mother as she deals with skin cancer and its treatments.
• Please pray for Janie Delp as she undergoes various tests to determine the source of her illness.
• Please pray for Norman Manuel as his medications are being regulated.

Romans 12:1, “I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
