SMC will be having a picnic meal at Gypsy Hill Park on July 29th beginning at 6:30 pm near the gazebo. Please bring sandwiches and a side to share. Table service will be provided. Let’s enjoy the park, and stay for the music if you would like. Guests are always welcome.

Attention all parents! This coming Friday the 31st we are providing an exciting new opportunity. It’s stupendous, it’s breathtaking, it’s OUT OF THIS WORLD! What can possibly be so exciting? Parents, you can take a night off. The last Friday of every month there will be childcare for families that regularly attend SMC at the church from 6:00-10:00 in the evening so you can enjoy one another. Talk to Garlan for all the exciting details. Volunteers are needed.

Take a break from cooking and help end Alzheimer’s at the same time by coming to Cici’s Pizza in Staunton on Friday, July 31st. 10% of sales will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association. See the Bulletin Board.

Next Sunday we will have a carry-in meal immediately following our worship service. We will be joined by Rodney and Lindsey Nice and their three children who will be leaving this summer to serve at Maranatha School for the Deaf in Jamaica. We will also be receiving donations to support the Nice’s in their ministry.
