.Today we extend a welcome to Rodney and Lindsey Nice and family. The
Nice’s will be serving at the Maranatha School for the Deaf in Jamaica
through Virginia Mennonite Missions. You may give toward their support
efforts by earmarking a portion of your donation or by placing cash
donations in the envelopes in the pews.
Please join us for a carry-in meal immediately following our worship
service. Even if you did not bring anything, we always have plenty.
Anyone that wishes to provide a meal for Deona and Chance Houff after
August 9th as she heals after her surgery should email her at dlhouff@verizon.net
or call 886-0264.
Plan to join in the fun on August 16th at 4:00 at Humpback Rock for the
SMC annual ice cream social. Feel free to come early for hiking.
Prayer Concerns
- Pray for Deona Houff as she undergoes surgery on Tuesday
- Pray for Mary Shifflett as she is experiencing chronic back pain
- Please pray for Joyce Showalter as she deals with shoulder pain
- Please pray for Peggy Blosser as she continues to gain strength.
- Please pray for those that are traveling this summer that God will keep them safe.
