.There will be a prayer meeting at SMC this Wednesday at 7:30.
Parents’ Night Out will be this Friday from 6-10 pm. Bring your children
for free childcare. This month childcare will be provided by Gary Mules
and the Huyards. See the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board
Are you taking advantage of the devotional materials provided by the
church? Rejoice! (Mennonite Publishing Network) and The Upper Room are
available for anyone who will use them.
There are new additions to our library. Feel free to check them out.
Apple Butter boiling for the Relief Sale will take place at Friendship
Park in Waynesboro on September 12th and 19th all day long.
Save the date of October 2-3 for the Virginia Mennonite Relief Sale. There
will be food, fellowship, and fundraising all for a good cause.
Prayer Concerns
- Pray for those that are returning to school this fall
- Pray for Norman Manuel and family as they deal with some difficult issues.
- Pray for Deona Houff as she recovers from surgery
- Please pray for Joyce Showalter as she deals with shoulder pain
- Please pray for Peggy Blosser as she continues to gain strength.
