.There will be a prayer meeting at SMC this Wednesday beginning at 7:30.
This Friday is the next scheduled Parents’ Night Out. Any parents wishing
to receive free childcare may drop their children off at SMC from 6-10 pm.
Gary, Sonya, and Kevin will be providing the childcare this month. Please
inform them beforehand if you plan to use this service.
There will be a Fall Harvest Party at the Buckhorn Inn this Saturday,
October 31st beginning at 6:00. There will be a bonfire and possibly a
hayride. Hotdogs will be provided. Please bring a side of finger-foods or
snacks. And feel free to come in costume!
We are still collecting gently used shoes and School Kits for various
charities. See the bulletin board for more information.
There will be an evening of praise and an installation service for Beryl
Jantzi as the next Southern District overseer on November 15, beginning at
6:00 pm at Springdale.
Prayer Concerns:
- Jim Echard as he adjusts to life at Envoy of Staunton nursing home.
- Danny Weaver as he recovers from knee surgery
- Those who are without adequate income during these slower economic times
