The Staunton Mennonite Women’s Christmas Fondue Dinner is this
Wednesday, December 16th beginning at 6:00 at Marlene Wenger’s. *Any men
interested can meet at Kathy’s Restaurant at 6:30.
The next Parents’ night out will be this Friday, the 18th, beginning at 6.
Anyone wishing to use this free babysitting service should let Kathy know
today. (Note that the last Friday of December is Christmas Day).
Sunday, December 20th will be the annual SMC Christmas Caroling and Soup
Dinner. We will plan to meet at the church at 4:00 and carpool to several
locations and return for a shared meal.
Community Christmas Events
Hanging of the Greens at Stuarts Draft Mennonite, tonight at 6:00
SACRA benefit concert at Memorial Baptist Church, Monday, Dec 14th
beginning at 7:00. A free-will offering will be taken.
There will be a community Carol Sing at the Gypsy Hill Park gazebo on
Saturday, the 19th beginning at 5 pm.
The Stonewall Brigade Band will present a Christmas Concert on Monday
evening December 21 at 7:30 pm in the sanctuary of St. Paul's United
Methodist Church to benefit the Valley Mission.
Christmas Eve candlelight service at Springdale, beginning at 7:30
Prayer Concerns:
- The family of Gary Troyer as they mourn his recent passing.
- Rodney and Lindsey Nice as they work with the Maranatha School for
the Deaf in Jamaica
