Congratulations to Pastor Kevin and Sonya Gasser on the birth of their son Paxton Christopher Gasser January 16, 2010. 7lb 14oz.

We will be collecting monetary donations for Haiti relief over the next couple of weeks. Please earmark donations appropriately. Also, there are lists of items needed for relief kits available at the front door. Please bring these items to the church and we will assemble kits together on a future date.

There will be a prayer meeting at SMC on Wednesday at 7:00 pm.

This Friday is the next Parents’ Night Out. Children can be dropped off at the church beginning at 6:00. Please let Kathy know if you are planning to use this free service.

Save the date of March 20th as Mennonite Mutual Aid will hold a Stewardship University at Springdale Mennonite. Keynote speaker Myron Augsburger will speak on biblical approaches toward financial management. There will be various workshops on holistic stewardship practices for your home, community, and church.

• Anje Cassel and the medical relief team that she is serving with in Haiti over the next two weeks.
• Christie Crookshanks (a friend of Gary and Artis) as she deals with might have been a mini-stroke.
• Lennie Dale Showalter as doctors consider treatment options for a brain tumor.
• Malcolm Sykes as he struggles with various health issues.
