We will be collecting monetary donations for Haiti relief, including Anje Cassel’s expenses, over the next couple of weeks. Please earmark donations appropriately. Also, there are lists of items needed for relief kits available at the front door. Please bring these items to the church and we will have the opportunity to assemble kits with the other churches of the Southern District later this month.
*A truck will be arriving from MCC this week with materials for 1,400 relief kits to be assembled in Fishersville. More information to come.

Church Council will meet this Wednesday at 7:00. Dwight, devotions.

There will be a Weekday Religious Education benefit at CiCi’s Pizza on Friday, February 26th from 5-8 p.m. A WRE representative will be there to collect receipts and CiCi’s will donate a percentage of sales to WRE.

SMC will be holding a “Spring Banquet” at the Buckhorn Inn on February 20th, beginning at 6 pm. The entertainment this year will be provided by Inner Harmony. A donation to cover the cost of food is appreciated. Any assistance helping prepare food and cleanup afterward would be appreciated. Please sign up on the bulletin board so we have an estimate for the food.

Virginia Mennonite Missions will hold a Celebration of Missions at Greenmonte on February 25th at 6:30. See Kevin for details.
