.The Sister Care Group will meet this Wednesday at Staunton Mennonite
beginning at 7:00. If you are interested or curious about this group, talk
to Kathy or Susan.
Edith Shenk Kuhns and Rose Shenk will speak on “Grief and Grace,
A Mother and Daughter’s Journey” at the Family Life Resource Center’s
annual Fundraising dinner held at VMRC’S Hartman Dining Room at 6 pm
Saturday, May 22. Edith and her daughter Rose each lost their spouse in
tragic accidents that occurred within two weeks of each other in July of
2005. The women’s music group Shekinah will also be a part of the program,
and a freewill offering will benefit the Center. Please register by
calling 434-8450 (or services@flrc.org) by May 15.
The Valley Brethren-Mennonite Heritage Center will sponsor the “First
Annual Harmonia Sacra Singing” at Hildebrand Church on Sun., June 6,
at 6:30 p.m. Bring your copy of Harmonia Sacra if you have one (extras
will be available), and help initiate a new and exciting tradition!
