.Today we welcome James Akerson to our worship service. James works with
the National Park Service and is a current Seminary student. James and his
family attend Harrisonburg Mennonite Church.
We are collecting School Kits for Mennonite Central Committee, which will
be distributed to children in need. If you are interested in making kits
please take a “shopping list” from the bulletin board and bring your
completed kits to the church.
There will be Apple butter boiling for the Relief Sale at Friendship Park
in Waynesboro on September 11th and 18th.
The annual ice cream social at the Humpback Rock campsite will be Sunday
September 12th. More details to come.

- Garlan and Sylvia as they travel this week with the girls and baby Grayson.
- Those who are returning to school.
- Those who are suffering from the recent flooding in Pakistan.
- The new church year, which begins on Wednesday.
