We are collecting School Kits for Mennonite Central Committee, which will be distributed to children in need. If you are interested in making kits please take a “shopping list” from the bulletin board and bring your completed kits to the church.

There will be Apple butter boiling for the Relief Sale at Friendship Park in Waynesboro on September 11th and 18th.

You are invited to a Missions Benefit Concert Saturday, Sept. 11th at Park View Mennonite beginning at 7 pm. All proceeds will go toward the support of Emily Gingrich, who will be serving in the Czech Republic with Virginia Mennonite Missions.

The annual ice cream social at the Humpback Rock campsite will be Sunday September 12th, beginning at 4 o’clock. Please bring chairs along with ice cream, finger-food, sandwiches, cookies, or something else to share. Come early to hike and for live music.

Stuarts Draft Mennonite will be hosting a BBQ pork dinner fundraiser for Pleasant View Inc’s service for people with disabilities on Sept. 18th from 4:00-7:00 pm with a suggested donation of $8 per meal.
