Congratulations to Joe and Amina Shenk as they welcome Ari Temir to their family. Ari was born on Thursday, measuring 8 lb 12 oz, and 21”.

The annual ice cream social at the Humpback Rock campsite will be held this afternoon beginning at 4 o’clock. Please bring chairs along with ice cream, finger-food, sandwiches, cookies, or something else to share. Come early to hike and for live music.

There will be Apple butter boiling for the Relief Sale at Friendship Park in Waynesboro on September 18th.

Stuarts Draft Mennonite will be hosting a BBQ pork dinner fundraiser for Pleasant View Inc’s service for people with disabilities on Sept. 18th from 4:00-7:00 pm with a suggested donation of $8 per meal.

The Augusta Coalition for Peace and Justice will be sponsoring a free mini-course examining the principles of justice. The course will meet on Mondays beginning on Oct 4 and ending on Nov 8. See bulletin board.
