Announcements .
There will be a carry-in meal for the Cassels after the worship service
today. They will leave today for training in Akron, PA for their time of
service in Zambia. Please join us in this time of fellowship even if you
did not bring a meal.
A church fund has been opened to help provide financial support to the
Cassels during their time of service in Zambia. Donations can be made to
Staunton Mennonite with “Cassel fund” in the memo line.
The Women’s Care Group will meet this Wednesday at 7:00 at the church. See
Kathy or Susan for more details.
The annual Staunton Mennonite Harvest Festival will be October 31st at the
Buckhorn Inn beginning at 4:30. Come ready to roast marshmallows, hotdogs,
and anything else that you can fit on a stick. Costumes are not necessary,
but encouraged!
A Chuck Wagon Gang Concert, sponsored by VMRC Auxiliary, will be held at
Park View Mennonite Church on Sun, Oct. 24, 2:30 pm, to benefit the VMRC
Good Samaritan Annual Fund. Advance tickets are available for $16 at Red
Front, Ruth’s Books, and VMRC Park Gables front desk. Tickets at the door
will be $18.Children under 15 are free.

three-year term with
Mennonite Central Committee in Zambia.
- Gary Mules as he recovers from hip surgery.
- Allen Rader, who has recently undergone surgery for colon cancer and
is beginning chemotherapy. Allen is the son of Joyce Showalter’s cousin.
