Today we welcome Linford and Janet Stutzman to our worship service. Linford is a professor in the Bible and Religion Department at Eastern Mennonite University. Janet works for Virginia Mennonite Missions.

A church fund has been opened to help provide financial support to the Cassels during their time of service in Zambia. Donations can be made to Staunton Mennonite with “Cassel fund” in the memo line.

A Chuck Wagon Gang Concert, sponsored by VMRC Auxiliary, will be held at Park View Mennonite Church today beginning at 2:30 pm, to benefit the VMRC Good Samaritan Annual Fund. Advance tickets are available for $16 at Red Front, Ruth’s Books, and VMRC Park Gables front desk. Tickets at the door will be $18.Children under 15 are free.

The Annual Fall Banquet for Highland Retreat is this Tuesday at EMHS beginning at 6:30. Please call tomorrow if you are planning to attend: 540-852-3226.

There will be a prayer meeting at the church this Wednesday at 7:30 pm.

The annual Staunton Mennonite Harvest Festival will be October 31st at the Buckhorn Inn beginning at 4:30. Come ready to roast marshmallows, hotdogs, and anything else that you can fit on a stick. Costumes are not necessary, but encouraged!
