The ninth annual Festival of Praise will be held today at 4 p.m. at Eastern Mennonite School--featuring performances by Bridge Builders, Cantoré, Dayton Mennonite Church Octet, and others. Jay Hartzler, music director at Eastern Mennonite School, will direct a mass choir of all participants following group performances. An offering will be taken to benefit Hickory Hmong Mennonite Church.

Church Council will meet this Wednesday at 7:00 (note time change). Devotions c/o Kathy Zendt.

There will be a Worship Leader Training Session on Monday the 15th beginning at 7:00 pm at Staunton Mennonite. This session will focus on training for the Advent season, but anyone that serves as a worship leader at SMC is encouraged to come.

There will be a Spaghetti Benefit Dinner at Staunton Mennonite on Nov. 17th with all proceeds donated to the continued relief efforts in Haiti.

A Christmas Gift Gala from Third Way Media will be held at Park View Mennonite Church from 4:30 - 8 p.m. Fri., Nov. 19. Browse for Christmas gifts while sampling snacks from the new book Whatever Happened to Dinner? by Melodie Davis. Other gift items include a new Mennonite Hour CD of men’s quartet music – Breathe on Me, Breath of God, and many books. Purchases benefit Third Way Media.
