The annual SMC Women’s Christmas Dinner will be held at Now
You’re Cooking at 6:00 this Tuesday. See Sonya for details. Men are
invited to meet at the church for a chili supper! We need a few men to
sign up on the bulletin board to bring chili.
Congratulation to Lowell & Marlene Wenger on the birth of their
granddaughter Matea Sue. She was born at 2:24 pm last Sunday, weighing 6
lbs. 15 oz. and measuring 18.75 inches.
Church Council has been cancelled for the month of December.
There will be a Chuck Wagon Gang concert at White Hill Church of the
Brethren on December 16th at 7:00 pm. See bulletin board for details.
Dec 19 is the date for our annual Christmas Caroling. We will meet at the
church at 3:45 to go to various places. Afterwards there will be a soup
and sandwich meal. Every family should bring enough sandwiches for
themselves then we will share them. Soup will be provided. Following the
meal there will be a Christmas program by the children.
There is one poinsettia at the front of the sanctuary for each family in
the congregation. Please feel free to take your poinsettia on the last
Sunday before Christmas that you will be here.
