Announcements
Next Sunday’s offering will be divided evenly between Virginia
Mennonite Missions and Virginia Mennonite Conference.
Church Council will meet this Wednesday at 7:30pm. Devotions, Dwight.
Mt. View Mennonite is hosting a Brunswick Stew Dinner and Bake Sale to
raise funds for their mission trip to the Maranatha School for the Deaf in
Jamaica on Saturday, May 14th beginning at 6:00pm.
The Grace Christian High School Choir will present a concert of sacred
music at Springdale Mennonite Church on Sunday, May 15, at 6:30 p.m. There
will be a time of fellowship and dessert following the concert.
Those who signed up to receive The Mennonite may make checks payable to
the church in the amount of $37, or whatever you can afford.
There will be a fellowship meal on May 22nd following the morning worship
service. After lunch you are invited to stay as Jenifer Bradford shares
pictures and stories from her recent trip to the Middle East.

- Please pray for Peggy Blosser as she recovers following a stroke.
- Please pray for our friends and family members that are experiencing
various health problems.
- Please pray those that are recovering following the recent natural
disasters both far and near.
Matthew 6:9, “This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in
heaven, hallowed be your name.’”
