Thanks to a gift from the estate of Jim Echard, the church was able to pay off the mortgage of the property at 2403 3rd St. Please pray that this gift be an ongoing blessing to many.

There will be a Harvest Party & Brunswick Stew event at the Buckhorn Inn this afternoon beginning at 1:30. Come to peel and cut vegetables for the stew (please bring your own knives and cutting boards). Bring lawn chairs, outdoor games and jars to take stew home. The meal will begin around 4:30.

Chuck Wagon Gang will hold a concert this afternoon at Park View Mennonite Church at 2:30 pm. to benefit the VMRC auxiliary.

There will be a prayer meeting at the church this week beginning at 7:30.
