Congratulations to Kadrin and Ed Anderson who welcomed their son Asher to the world on Tuesday. Asher weighed in at 7 lb. 8 oz. Everyone is doing well.

The annual Apple Butter Boiling for the Virginia Mennonite Relief Sale will be held next Saturday, September 15th at Friendship Park in Stuarts Draft.

Great food for a great cause! Join in at the Depot Grill for the annual “tip night” benefiting the Augusta Regional Free Clinic. All tips collected after 5:00 pm go directly toward this charitable organization.

Our 2012 Penny Power donations will be split evenly between tornado relief work in West Liberty, KY and Mennonite Central Committee’s ongoing relief efforts in the Middle East countries of Syria and Lebanon.
