Thanks to everyone who contributed to the Thanksgiving boxes for the
Valley Mission. As a church we donated three complete boxes!
This is the last week for the collection of gently worn shoes for Ten
Thousand Villages and the Well of Hope, an organization providing safe
shelter for women and their children. Tie each pair of shoes together with
a piece of yarn, which can also be used by the widows for additional
projects. There is a box in the coat room for shoe donations.
The Women of Staunton Mennonite will meet for the annual Christmas dinner
at Kathy Zendt’s home on December 5th beginning at 6:00 p.m. Men, we are
planning to meet at the church at the same time for a chili cook-off.
The annual church Christmas Caroling will be in the evening of December
9th, followed by a light meal.
