Many thanks to those who contributed to the 47 kits for the refugee children living on the US/Mexico border and the 31 school kits for Mennonite Central Committee. A special thanks to Florence Showalter for sowing all of the kit bags!

Applebutter Boiling for the Mennonite Central Committee Relief Sale will be held Saturday, September 13 at Friendship Park in Stuarts Draft. Work will begin at 6:00 am. Feel free to come as your schedule allows.

Women’s Care Group will begin meeting again on September 17th, 7:00 pm, at Kathy Zendt’s home.

The Virginia Mennonite Relief Sale will be held October 3-4 at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds, Harrisonburg. The relief sales offers a little bit of everything—quilts, artwork, homemade food, antiques, crafts, music and activities for the whole family. We hope you’ll join us! Proceeds go to the work of Mennonite Central Committee.
