No one truly knows Christ unless they follow Him daily in life" - Hans Denck

You have been our dwelling place

Affirming Faith (unison)

Lord, you have been our dwelling place—
yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
From everlasting to everlasting,
you are God.
You are near
and we will live forever. Amen.

Confessing/Reconciling

Leader: God of light,
you have called us children of light and day,
People: yet we find ourselves stumbling
as though it were night.
Leader: We have claimed that you are our dwelling place,
People: yet we fail to settle in deeply.
Leader: You have entrusted us with talents,
People: yet sometimes we bury them.
(pause for silence)
Leader: God, who has called you,
has not destined you for wrath,
but to receive salvation
through your Lord Jesus Christ.

Sending

Good and faithful servants—
as you journey from this place,
faithfully use that which God has entrusted to you.
—Esther Lanting, Wakarusa, Indiana
