No one truly
knows Christ unless they follow Him daily in life" -

it in the offering plate. |
The Lord
hears when I call
Praising/Adoring
Leader: Jesus, how magnificent is your name!
People: There is no other who is worthy of our praise,
no other whose righteousness and holiness are true.
Leader: Jesus, we glorify your name!
People: In your name there is healing. There is repentance.
In your name, our sins are forgiven, our hearts are
made new.
Leader: Jesus, how awesome that we bear your name!
All: In your name we pray. In your name we worship.
Amen.
Praying
God,
we come to you with our troubles. We hear news of violence
and suffering. We bear the pain of those we care about. In
your mercy, hear our prayers; we wait in silence for you.
(silence)
God, how great the love you have lavished on us that we are
called your children! In you, there is the shelter of a parent’s
arms; there we may dwell in safety. Hold us in your care as we
place our trust in you.
Sending
As
we go from this place, let us remember who we are, who
we are called to be, and who we will become. We are children
of God. We are called to be witnesses of the living Christ. What
we will be remains a mystery—but we know that we will
become like Christ, and we will see him as he is. Therefore, we
go with hope, in confidence that we may call on the Lord, and
the Lord will hear our voices.
