Your
temple will always be beautiful
Praying
Ancient One, Lord,
Alpha, Omega, King over all.
You are robed in majesty, pure and holy,
and girded in strength and truth.
Your throne is established from of old;
you are from everlasting.
We come before you with awe and trembling
Knowing you will hear our prayer:
(pray silently)
In your power, hear us. Amen
Witnessing
Leader: Who is like the Lord?
People: The Lord is ancient, his clothing and hair are white as
snow.
Leader: Who is like the Lord?
People: The Lord is strong, he is robed in majesty, even more
majestic than the waves of the sea.
Leader: Who is like the Lord?
People: The Lord is almighty; all shall see him coming with the
clouds.
Leader: Who is like the Lord?
People: The Lord is king; for this he came into the world, to
testify to the truth.
Praying
There are so many names for you, O God.
Yahweh Lord, Ancient One, King, Alpha and Omega,
and the list goes on.
With so many titles, how can we know whom to call?
Yet you are the first and the last, the ruler of all,
the God from the beginning and the God to the end.
When we call to you, you answer
and all will hear your voice. Amen.
