Leader: The Lord is God, and he has given us light.
People: This is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes.
Leader: The Lord is our strength and our might,
People: The Lord has become our salvation.
All: O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
God’s steadfast love endures forever.
Confession/Reconciling
God is alive and at work in our world. But sometimes we look away
and miss God’s work. Other times we won’t believe without seeing it
ourselves. We, like Thomas, finger the wounds in Jesus’ side when we
refuse to believe.
(silence)
Jesus said, “Blessed are you who have not seen with your own eyes
and yet have come to believe.” Through believing, you have life in Jesus’
name.
Sending
May the grace and peace of God,
the Alpha and Omega,
go with you.
May the grace and peace of God,
the one who is and was and is to come,
go with you always. Amen.
