Salvation belongs to our God
Witnessing
Leader: With every
tribe and nation,
in the language of all people, we proclaim,
People: salvation belongs to our God.
Leader: With the multitude of witnesses,
gathered around the throne, we proclaim,
People: salvation belongs to our God.
Leader: With the angels and the four living creatures, we proclaim,
People: salvation belongs to our God.
All: Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor
and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen.
Prayer
Lord, you are our shepherd, we shall not want.
You make us lie down in green pastures;
you lead us beside still waters; you restore our soul.
You lead us in right paths for your name’s sake.
Even though we walk through the darkest valley,
we fear no evil; for you are with us;
your rod and your staff—they comfort us.
You prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies;
you anoint our heads with oil and our cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all of our days,
and we shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen.
Sending
Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice and they follow me. I know
them and no one will ever snatch them out of my hand.” Go now, and
listen for God’s voice.
