I am
making all things new
Praising/Adoring
All: Praise the
Lord!
Leader: Praise the Lord from the heavens and the earth.
Sun and moon, and shining stars,
People: praise the Lord!
Leader: All waters, fire, and hail; snow and frost; stormy winds;
mountains and trees; animals of the land, sea, and sky;
People: praise the Lord!
Leader: Rulers, all people, men and women, old and young,
People: will praise the Lord’s name, which alone is exalted.
The Lord’s glory is above earth and heaven.
All: Praise the Lord!
Confessing/Reconciling
Reconciling God, your Spirit brings together those we split apart.
Like the Jerusalem believers,
we confess that we have made distinctions between them and us.
Your gift of repentance that leads to life shatters the barriers we
create.
Keep us from hindering you, O God. Amen.
Witnessing
Men: Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth.
Women: See, I am making all things new.
Men: The holy city came from heaven, shimmering with beauty.
Women: I will dwell with you. You will be my people.
Men: The former things had passed away: death, crying, and pain.
Women: I myself will be with you. I will wipe every tear from your
eyes. See, I am making all things new!
