God
chose you
Gathering
We gather to
worship today, knowing that the Lord will hear us.
When we pray, the Lord will listen. When we sing, when we praise,
when we read God’s Word, when we fellowship together, the Lord
will be with us. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
Praying
Leader: We will call upon you, O God,
People: because you will answer us.
All: You will listen to us, and hear our words.
Leader: O God, you show us steadfast love
People: and are the savior of those who seek refuge.
Leader: Hide us in your shadow and keep us safe.
All: You are our living Redeemer, the God of the living, the
One whom we shall one day see. Amen.
Sending
We leave this space, giving thanks for each other, our brothers and
sisters. We are loved by God and called to proclaim the good news.
We will stand firm and hold fast, knowing that God has given us
grace, eternal comfort, and good hope.
