does the Lord require of you but
to do justice, and to love kindness, and to
walk humbly with your God?
Proclaiming
Right: Blessed are
the poor in spirit,
Left: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Right: Blessed are those who mourn,
Left: for they will be comforted.
Right: Blessed are the meek,
Left: for they will inherit the earth.
Right: Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
Left: for they will be filled.
Right: Blessed are the merciful,
Left: for they will receive mercy.
Right: Blessed are the pure in heart,
Left: for they will see God.
Right: Blessed are the peacemakers,
Left: for they will be called the children of God.
All: These are the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Offering
Leader: Remembering the saving acts of God,
People: we come before the Lord.
Leader: What shall we bring with us?
People: Our lives of justice and kindness—
Leader: this is the offering the Lord requires.
All: With gratitude and humility, we walk each day with God.in the light we will stay.
Sending
Go and give witness to God’s goodness, walk blamelessly, speak
truth from your heart, do no evil, live justly.
Those who do these things, they shall not be moved.
