Motorcycle for Missions, a fundraiser for Virginia Mennonite Missions, will be held June 15-16. Garlan Yoder will be riding again this year and is currently taking pledges for donations. Please see him if you are interested in contributing.

Our next fellowship meal will be held on June 17 after the worship service. Please note that there will not be a preservice fellowship time on this date.

Would you like the opportunity to better connect and be personally involved with the new Hispanic church plant in Waynesboro? Southern District churches are in the process of putting together a Ministry Support Team (MST) for Armando & Veronica Sanchez. If you have interest in learning more, please talk to Kevin, or come to the Sanchez MST Exploration Meeting on June 17, 6 pm, at Waynesboro Mennonite.  

Highland Retreat’s Annual Steak BBQ will be held Saturday, June 23. The day will feature a summer staff commissioning service (1:00), a pool party time with games and activities to celebrate Highland’s 60th year (2:30), and a tasty steak BBQ dinner (5:00), followed by music from The Walking Roots Band. Highland will provide rib-eye steaks, as well as hot dogs, Boca burgers, baked potatoes, and birthday cake! Bring a side dish or salad to share, and a donation to support Highland.
