Pleasant View, Inc. will be selling pork barbeque sandwiches (1/$3.50 or 5/$15) and barbeque by the pound (1 lb bags for $10) Saturday September 8, 2018 from 10:00 am until sold out at three locations: The Cheese Shop, Stuarts Draft Christian Fellowship, and the Broadway Autumn Festival. You can also preorder barbeque by calling or texting Pam Miller at 540-560-1134 or emailing her at pmiller@pleasantviewinc.org.  

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place September 8 at Gypsy Hill Park, beginning at 9:30am. If you wish to walk or make a donation, please talk to George Weaver. The church fellowship hall will be used to host a post-walk fellowship meal.  

The annual Apple Butter Boiling will take place on September 15 at Friendship Park beginning at 6:00am. This apple butter will be sold at the Relief Sale to support Mennonite Central Committee.  

The Southern District Family Fun event will take place on September 16 at the Waynesboro Mennonite Church pavilion. There will be a carry-in lunch at 1:00, bouncy house, and train rides.
