Please bring a dish or two to share.
The Voices of
Conscience exhibit will be displayed on the main floor of Eastern
Mennonite University’s Hartzler Library during regular library hours
from October 1 - November 17. This traveling exhibit, created by the
Kaufmann Museum in Newton, Kansas, remembers the witness of
peace-minded people during the First World War 1914-1918.
Come hear Bruxy Cavey at EMU October 24-25. Bruxy, senior pastor of
The Meeting House, will speak from his books at the following events,
which are open to the public: Oct. 24, 10:10-11 am in Lehman
Auditorium, 6:30-8 pm in Common Grounds Coffeehouse, and Oct. 25,
11-11:45 a.m. Seminary Chapel in Martin Chapel.
Join
Southern District churches for a time to bless, support and pray for a
new Spanish speaking ministry starting in Waynesboro. We will meet
Armando and Veronica Sanchez and learn about their vision for this
ministry while sharing food, music, song, prayer and blessing. Please
join us at Waynesboro Mennonite Church, Sunday, November 18, 5 pm.
Please pray for:
- Those who continue to recover from natural
disasters, and those who help with the cleanup process.
