Virginia Mennonite Conference Annual Assembly will meet this week. All are invited to attend the worship sessions at Lindale Mennonite, beginning at 6:45pm. Thursday evening will mark the 100-year anniversary of Virginia Mennonite Missions. Friday evening Kevin King of Mennonite Disaster Service will share.  

The Mennonite Women of Virginia Prayer Breakfast will be held Saturday, July 20, 2019, 6:45-8:15am at Eastern Mennonite School.

Mennonite Women of Virginia also invites your congregation to make and donate a comforter for the MDS houses that are being built by Virginia Mennonite Conference for the flood victims in West Virginia.  

Our annual ice cream social will be held July 25 near the Gypsy Hill Bandstand, beginning around 6:00pm. Please bring finger foods to share. Volunteers are needed to provide ice cream. A free jazz concert will follow.

• George Weaver as he considers and undergoes treatment for prostate cancer.
• William Stephens, Ben True’s infant cousin, as he heals from esophageal surgery
