We welcome John David Kenney to our worship service this morning. John David is a graduate of William and Mary and a third-year student at Eastern Mennonite Seminary. He and his wife, Ariel, worship at Waynesboro Mennonite.  

Today will be the final morning social time. Sunday School will reconvene on September 8 with classes for all ages. The adult class will be studying Meghan Good’s The Bible Unwrapped: Making Sense of Scripture Today. See Marlene if you have questions.  

Signs of Life Fellowship has begun meeting at Staunton Mennonite on Saturday mornings. Worship begins at 10:45, and runs through lunch. Feel free to stop by and say hello!  

Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) is now collecting immigration detainee kits to be distributed to detainees when released. Kits can be assembled and donated to MCC; monetary donations are also accepted. Your donation of $60 provides a person with basics like clothing, toiletries, diapers, and a simple toy.
