The annual Virginia Mennonite Relief Sale is scheduled for October 4-5. Baked donations are still needed, and tend to sell quickly! Please see the bulletin board for more information, including the “Sharing our Surplus” campaign, which is returning for its third year.  

There will be a carry-in fellowship meal next Sunday after the worship service. Please bring a dish or two to share. A cake will be provided to celebrate Nelson Blosser’s 70th birthday.  

Our regularly-scheduled prayer meeting has been moved to September 30 at 7:30 pm.  

Save the date: our annual Fall Harvest Party will be held the afternoon of October 12 at the home Kadrin and Ed Anderson. Details to come.

• Dwight Weaver, Danny’s brother, as he recovers from a heart attack.
•  The family of Sam Baker, who passed away suddenly from a heart attack. Sam was the brother of Meredith Showalter.
