On the evening of Saturday December 7, our teen Bible quiz team will be quizzing a team from the Lighthouse church of Baltimore, Maryland, here at SMC!  Please put this on your calendar.  Prior to the quiz we will be doing a meal as a fundraiser for the team's trip to San Diego next summer.  If you are interested in coming, please sign up on the sheet by the door so we know how many persons for whom to plan.  

“Screens: Idols of the Modern Age” will be presented at Springdale Mennonite Church on six consecutive Wednesday evenings (6:30) beginning on October 9. Classes will be led by Chris Riddle (MDiv, MA) and are appropriate for junior high youth and older. Topics will include Video Games; Social Media & Texting; Effects on the Brain; etc.  Contact Springdale Mennonite Church with questions.  

As VMMissions celebrates 100 years of making disciples, you are invited to our Centennial events, November 2-3, at Park View Mennonite Church, 1600 Park Rd., Harrisonburg, Va. A Centennial Program will be held November 2 at 7:00 pm, with stories, songs, and a centennial video celebrating the past and looking to the future. On Sunday, November 3 at 4:00 pm, join us for Festival of Praise, an a capella concert in support of VMMissions.
