Announcements

We are in need of Greeters for Sunday mornings. If you are interested, please see Kevin.

The Church Council meeting originally scheduled for November 4 has been rescheduled for November 10 at 7:30 pm.

There will be a carry-in fellowship meal next Sunday, November 10, after the worship service. Please bring a dish or two to share.

Next week’s offering will be divided equally between Virginia Mennonite Conference and Virginia Mennonite Missions.

The Ten Thousand Villages bag sale will be held this Saturday, November 9. Buy your fairly-traded gifts for 25% off!

On the evening of Saturday December 7, our teen Bible quiz team will be quizzing a team from the Lighthouse church of Baltimore, Maryland, here at SMC!  Please put this on your calendar.  Prior to the quiz we will be doing a meal as a fundraiser for the team's trip to San Diego next summer.  If you are interested in coming, please sign up on the sheet by the door so we know how many persons for whom to plan.

Please pray for:

  • Sharon Sell, as she recovers from heart surgery and mourns the passing of her husband Ivan.
