Announcements

There will not be Sunday School next Sunday. All are invited for a Social Time from 9:45-10:15. Refreshments will be provided.

Please join us for the annual Staunton Mennonite Christmas Eve service. We will gather on December 24 at 6:30 pm for singing, scripture reading, and candle lighting.

All are invited to Gypsy Hill Park Bandstand for Caroling in the Park 12/21 from 4-6 pm. This fun seasonal event helps support the Valley Mission. Brave the winter elements and listen to local choirs including the Harrisonburg Harmonizers, Valley Harmony Chorus, and Staunton Choral Society as they spread Christmas cheer. Bring the children out for FREE hot chocolate, cookies, and photo with Santa! There will be a cozy bonfire, and wagon rides. Please bring donated items for the Valley Mission. Check out the mission’s website for a list of needed items at valleymission.net

Please pray for:

  • Our friends and family members dealing with illness.
  • Those who have lost loved ones and find the holidays difficult.

Christmas Joy

Isaiah 35:10, “And those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.”
